ALEXANDRIA, VA, July 21, 2025 – The North American Renderers Association (NARA) is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Animal and Fishery Resources (MIRAH) of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. This strategic agreement establishes a formal framework for collaboration aimed at promoting science-based standards, regulatory harmonization, and technical knowledge exchange to support the growth and modernization of Côte d’Ivoire’s animal feed and rendering industries.
Through this MOU, NARA and MIRAH will undertake joint initiatives to facilitate trade in rendered animal proteins while advancing public and animal health objectives. Areas of cooperation include regulatory development and reform, government-to-government engagement, technical training programs, study tours, data sharing, market research, and outreach to raise awareness of the safety and benefits of rendered products.
