NARA Applauds California State Assembly Recognition of National Rendering Day

ALEXANDRIA, VA, April 24, 2026 – The North American Renderers Association (NARA) extends its sincere appreciation to the California State Assembly for recognizing National Rendering Day, honoring the essential contributions of the rendering industry to sustainability, waste reduction and the circular economy.

NARA would like to thank Assemblyman Heath Flora, R-Ripon (District 9), for introducing the recognition and Assemblymember Josh Hoover, R-Folsom (District 7), for speaking in support of the measure. The association also extends its gratitude to all Assemblymembers who voted in favor, demonstrating strong bipartisan support for the industry and its vital role in environmental stewardship and resource efficiency.

NARA also extends special thanks to SRC Companies, as well as to Jack Koewler and Manuel Cunha, who were present on behalf of the company. Appreciation is also extended to NARA Chairman and CEO of SRC Companies Michael Koewler for his ongoing support of this initiative and continued efforts to raise awareness of the importance of rendering.
