Global Rendering Programs
The North American Renderers Association (NARA) has offices in Alexandria, Virginia; Mexico City, Mexico; and Hong Kong, PRC, as well as representatives in multiple countries and regions worldwide.
Global staff and representatives work at the direction of the NARA’s International Market Development Committee (IMDC). Members of this committee represent NARA’s members who trade rendered products globally.
NARA’s global staff and representatives work to facilitate the free trade of rendered proteins and fats for its member companies. Our global, proactive development programs encompass market access and promotion. We believe that free, fair, and unfettered trade is essential for the development of food, feed, pet food, oleochemical, and renewable energy markets worldwide.
The International Market Development Committee (IMDC) supports and advances the Association’s international market development mission. As a standing committee, the IMDC brings together companies committed to strengthening global competitiveness, expanding export opportunities, and addressing the challenges of an increasingly complex international trade environment.
Membership Eligibility
Membership is open to:
- Active Members, and
- Members or Member representatives from other membership categories who join by paying the IMDC’s annual non-active member dues.
International Members are not eligible for IMDC membership.
Membership Details
- 2026 Dues: $3,113 per company
- Access: IMDC meetings and activities are open only to committee members, ensuring a confidential and collaborative environment.
- Oversight: The Board of Directors periodically reviews membership criteria, dues, and member benefits.
