Through the MOU, NARA and MIRAH will work together to strengthen trade, promote sustainable practices, and improve public and animal health through initiatives such as:

  • Regulatory alignment and science-based standards
  • Technical training and capacity building
  • Government-to-government engagement
  • Raising awareness about the safety and benefits of rendered products

This new partnership reflects NARA’s broader mission to expand global market access and foster resilient, sustainable food systems through rendering. By collaborating with international stakeholders like MIRAH, NARA continues to advance the role of rendering in agricultural development, environmental stewardship, and food security around the world.
